About "Temptation Revisited "

I have always been mesmerised by stained glass windows in old cathedrals and churches. The translucent shards of glass filter light through colourful heated earth compounds in order to bring ancient scenes to life.
I tried to replicate the stained glass feel with glazes of a limited palette revisiting mankind's first temptation in Eden. A little tongue in cheek perhaps as I have always wondered how Eve reached the apple when most of the women in my life have trouble reaching the top shelf. Surely Adam must have picked the apple for her? Here she looks on beguilingly as her reaches for that fateful moment in time.
The stylised tree of Good and Evil dominates the scene as a snakelike shape entwines the trunk. Stylistic hands offer the fruit to the humans while new temptations form as blossoms open.
