Reference PAGE About "The King and His Men" I was commissioned by a client to replace the faces of the Kings men with men in his family. The portraits are of his grandfather, his uncle, his father, himself and his 2 brothers and his cousin. This 5 year dream was realized in January 2014 when Lucky Mthembu received his painting. He had been looking for someone to paint this and found me after Googling for portrait artists. it was a challenge to fit 8 portraits and to size it to fit the character of the painting and this took me an entire month to complete this portrait battling the KZN heat. I can paint this on comission with the faces of the men in your family instead of the King's men. |
