Reference 0077 About "The Last Rhino" I recently read the outstanding book entitled "The Last Rhinos" by Lawrence Anthony. I was so touched by the tragedy of the subject matter that I felt inspired to capture one of my rhino photographs on canvas. Currently in South Africa we have a rhino slaughtered by poachers for the rhino horn trade of the Far East every 18 hours. The authorities are unable to stem the flow of this senseless tragedy. |

Since retiring from a career as a school librarian I have been privileged to enjoy experimenting with acrylics and various materials and textures and I am always game to try something new or different.
