I just love old and deserted buildings. The sunlight and shadows playing on the angles. One can just imagine the life that went on in and around these buildings... This was obviously a hatch through which things were passed, in and out.

I love the dicipline of pencil. I just love old and deserted buildings. My greatest inspiration is Edward Hopper. I love the mysteries one can imagine by walking through a deserted building, the lives that passed through, the business that went on. And i also feel it's important to record the old buildings, one day they'll just be a pile of bricks.
