About "Uber in the Great Karoo"

The donkey cart is a favourite mode of transport in the Karoo in South Africa. Made from old car components they afford the workers an opportunity to visit friends and family and to travel to the nearest town or village. This painting is inspired by a photo I took on a farm between Douglas and Prieska in an area Known as "Bo Karoo"
