About "Vietnamese Dragon Boat"

This is the traditional dragon carving on the bow of a boat I travelled on when visiting Halong Bay in northern Vietnam. The bay has more than 5000 islands and is a truly beautiful place. Most of the boats in that part of the world have some sort of dragon head as a bowsprit.
