The artist was deeply impressed by Bruce Feiler, who pointed out that Abraham is the father of Christians, Jews and Moslems. Consequentially we are all worshipping the same God, only in different ways.

About Anna

Anna Sophia Aletta Johanna van Zyl, an Educational Psychologist, studied art under guidance of Elize Olivier, Beau Art, Jeffreys Bay. She prefers working in acrylic, water colours and oil pastels. She also does pen sketches.

Anna finds her inspiration in the country life surroundings of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. She also loves doing replicas of the old masters.
