About Robin

Hugely inspired my nature and the magical animal kingdom, I also get my inspiration my many old masters of the past, not to mention so many talent artists in our modern world. From Turner and da Vinci, to Dali and Giger.

I've worked commercially as a professional illustrator for over 2 decades, mostly digitally now days, with my Wacom tablet. As amazing as technology is, I missed traditional media hugely, thus now returning, focusing and working alternatively on my fine-art and other creative projects, using mediums such as oils, acrylics, watercolor and various mixed media.

I like to explore a variety of styles and subject matter and not be restricted by mark demands and expectations. Thus you'll find work ranging from wildlife to traditional & surreal landscapes, contemporary portraiture to caricatures, domestic and magical creatures which often inspire me, to more illustrative and sometimes even cartoon-ish work, depending on what I wish to bring across at the time of my current project.
