About Bernita

Bernita, known to her wide circle of friends as Bon, has natural creative talents. After graduating with a Degree in Education in Australia, Bernita taught for a number of years before opening her own ballet school in Queensland. When on holiday, mostly at the beach, she has established herself as a competent and innovative 'sandcastle' sculptor. In her watercolours, often using out of the ordinary media such as twigs, grass and sea-sponges, Bernita has created some attractive works with the most delicate and fragile touches. Bernita is married with three children.
