About Jacqueline
Jacqueline Ann Mentor (Jacqui) At the age of 6, my father put a pencil in my hand and showed me how to draw a man's face, starting 1,2,3 showing the image of the face on the side. Growing up in a tough neighborhood in SA, Cape Town, allowed me to concentrate more on my art than getting involved with the wrong habits of life. My works are a constant outpouring of singular impressions: clearly isolated images that capture flashes of emotion, changes in perception, or moments of recognition. My art is a true reflection of my soul on a pedestal. In my little kitchen, I paint the deepest and thoughtful, meaningful paintings of my inner being. I give meaningful thoughts as much consideration as monumental ideas: nothing is more important than anything else and every small thing has its place. Whoever will buy my art, will take a piece of me with it.

Mentor: In 1993, ME Schler, a well-known artist, gave me professional insight into how to mix my colors and definitions in art. Her encouragement and motivation helped me to build great momentum.
Successfully exhibited at several galleries over the years and did very well as an artist. I also sold a lot of artworks to private collectors as well.
