About Kathleen

I was raised in rural KwaZulu Natal and have always been drawn back to the quiet and secluded areas of nature. I love to travel because Africa is so vibrant and beautiful and there are places that just speak to one. My paintings are an attempt to capture something of what I have experienced in the outdoors and I find I am best able to accomplish that with oils, where textures and lights can be moulded.
