Lorraine has been an associate of the Watercolour Society of SA since 1981 and has exhibited throughout SA and in London through the Society. She has tought pottery in her studio to adults and children for many years but has also held watercolour workshops in KZN and the E. Cape.
When the Grassroots Gallery was opened in Westville she was invited to have a solo exhibition of her paintings and pottery and the following year she had a solo exhibition in Johannesburg at the Hermine Spies Gallery. This was followed by an exhibition with Diana Seymour at the Garlicks Gallery in Cape Town.
She was also invited by the KZNSA to exhibit with 4 other watercolourists and a few years later with a small group of well known potters.
She has been commissioned as a watercolourist and a potter on numerous occasions and her paintings and pottery are in public and private collections around the world.
