About Petra

I love the colours of God's creation as well as the versatility of the people all over the world. Old people and interesting characters as well as children and their daily activities fascinates me and I like portraying them in thick textured brush strokes.
I would like the world to know that God created us all and gave us all a talent - either to create something or to appreciate it If somebody would like to buy some of my work and I hope that it will bring the so much joy as it did for me while creating it.
I did a lot of intensive art courses over the past two years all over the country to plough something back of the knowledge that I obtained over the past 35 years.
I have a lot of preferences when doing art I cannot concentrate on just one subject and do it over and over again. I like the versatility of the whole spectrum of subjects.
I did two exhibitions in England with a lot of work hanging in some Galleries there. I sold paintings in Belgium, USA, England and Germany, apart from South Africa and Namibia.
