About Samanta

My name is Samantha Pieterse and I am an artist from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I have always been interested in art and drawing and focused on this during my school career. However, as an adult, time and work got in the way and I lost touch with what I love to do. It wasn't until I was invited to an art class that I fell in love with art again. Since then, I paint whenever I get the chance and it is such an enjoyable experience for me. I particularly like to paint landscapes and water, it gives me a sense of peace and deep fulfillment. It is a world which I can escape into for hours.
