About Sonja

Always admired people that could express their emotions through all kinds of art and decided about 7 years ago to go for classes at Starnation Art Studio. Started with Mosaic but then got interested in the drawing and painting side and decided to give it a go. Today I'm so glad I took the chance having produced quit a few works over the years. I love drawing faces showing emotion using pencil, ink and pastels. Done a few commission drawings in the past. With my paintings I mainly work with oil on canvas. Love to paint a bit of everything landscapes, flowers, faces and more. Just love the way I feel when I paint it makes one forget all of your troubles after a days work. Growing up on a farm you get to see the most beautiful, natural paintings in the world that is all God's creation. Main thing I love my art and would never want to give it up ever again.
