About Robyn
Every day I am inspired by the beauty of colour, light ,shape and composition of nature. I am compelled to express this beauty through my painting .I love to paint and become totally engrossed in the creative process and am forever grateful for God's creativity. I started painting in 2003 and paint mainly in watercolour because of its unique character. I love the way watercolour paint flows, mixes, runs, blends and dances freely across the paper. All my paintings are original. I consider myself an impressionistic painter. I do not like to duplicate an image.I like to explore the mood and the painting is an artistic interpretation of the subject. Robyn was born in Johannesburg where she grew up and qualified as a school teacher. She taught Junior school and Pre Primary children for 20 years. She and her husband, Chris now live in St Francis Bay. They have two married children and two grandchildren. ''Love and Family'' are very important to her and she treasures their constant support.
