About "The Violinist"

I would have loved to play some sort of music instrument -but not to be-I do however paint while listening to music. I love the violin and the music of Sinead O'Conner and Local prophet and musician Jan Blohm. Certain songs and other music also reminds me of special people in my past.

About Elaine

Painting a picture is like giving birth to a soul mate. whatever I paint is personal and every painting a learning process. Energy,sensitivity,emotion,colour,composition,texture and brushstrokes all play a part. Sometimes it amuses and sometimes it amazes but always satisfies.
I am passionate about life and enjoy doing what I love most, creating.I have a lot of energy and I try to paint every day,I enjoy doing perseptual and conseptual art and I prefer acrylic paint as it is quick drying and I love the texture that drybrush creates.

MY paintings are in private collections all over the world. I have also illistrated a book of poems by dr.Franscois Bruere.
