Reference Landscape005 About "Thy Rod and Thy staff" My works generally contrast light and darkness. Here I have contrasted the beaty of the lilies with the dark approaching storm. There is also the little building on the hill that could be a little church. There are candles on inside the building and the glow of the light is shining through the windows. I wonder about the building and who lives there, is it a scary place or is it a safe haven against the storm? |
