About Christiaan
DIED OCTOBER 2020
Christiaan Nice was born 14 March 1939. He has become famous for his oil paintings depicting donkey carts, District Six Cape scenes, harbour scenes as well as excellent studies of children.
I'm sending you a photo of my brother which was taken in the 80s. There are a few more facts about my brother which is not correct and also unknown by many people, he only started selling his paintings at the beginning of the 1960s. At which time he had signed them in the lift hand corner at the bottom as C St.P Nice (standing for Patrick and not Peter) Christian also started signing his paintings on the right hand bottom corner with his name Christiaan Nice and for instance 67 or 69 or 2005
